Rosalee A. Walker took her last breaths at Transcendent Health Care (Owensville, IN), Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Rosalee was born in Haubstadt, IN, August 1, 1930, to Daniel Elderbrook and Lela Mae (Fisher) Elderbrook and was the widow of R. C. Walker formerly of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Rosalee is survived by her three children, Patrick A. Hughes and wife Cathy (Arroyo Grande, CA), Harrison G. Hughes and wife Anna (Fort Collins, CO), and Kathy A. Jones and husband Frank (Fort Branch, IN), 8 grandchildren: Nathan, Christopher, Nicole, Ryan, Jessie, Hunter, Ian, Abbey and 8 great grandchildren: Tyler, Bailey, Rachel, Avery, Addison, Bradon, Kyle, and one to be born. She was a member of Fort Branch Wesleyan Church. Rosalee enjoyed gardening, walking, reading, Chinese food, ice cream, and attending church. In addition to being grandmother and great grandmother, she was also a homemaker and nurses aid. Visitation for Rosalee will be on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Stodghill Funeral Home in Ft. Branch from 1:00 to 3:30; gravesite prayer and scripture reading by Pastor Richard Comer to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery. Donations in Rosalee's name may be made to Fort Branch Wesleyan Church, Fort Branch Public Library or Southern Care Hospice of Evansville,IN.
