Rosaline Ida Rexing, 87, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on December 5, 2023, at her home. She was born to the late Henry A. and Olivia (Schmits) Meny on May 7, 1936, in Haubstadt, IN.

Rosie graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1954. She married her loving husband, Henry Rexing on July 2, 1955, and they had 7 beautiful children together. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, a lifetime member of Holy Cross Alumni, Antique and Steam Engine Club of Boonville, American Legion 194 Ladies Auxiliary, St. Bernadette Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John, and a recipient of the Brute award.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Viola Wells, John "Eddie" Meny, Mildred Simon Michel, and Norma Harmon.

Surviving Rosie is her wonderful husband of 68 years, Henry Rexing of Fort Branch, IN; children, Theresa Buente of Fort Branch, IN, Marilyn (Larry) Adamson of Fort Branch, IN, Patricia (Jerry) Hale of Owensville, IN, Margaret Rexing of Owensville, IN, Larry (Kerri) Rexing of Fort Branch, IN, Ellen (Joey) Ricker of Owensville, IN, and Darrell (Becky) Rexing of Fort Branch, IN; siblings, Pauline Frohbieter of Fort Branch, IN and Paul (Donna) Meny of Haubstadt, IN; 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a great granddaughter on the way.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch and again on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until mass time at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Recitation of the rosary will be on Sunday, December 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Entombment will be in the Holy Cross Mausoleum in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Branch.
