Rubin A. Sisk, 84, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Gibson General Hospital Skilled Care Unit in Princeton, IN. He was born on July 19, 1923 in Christian Co. KY. to the late Elgin and Maude Sisk. Rubin was a member of the Rosedale Southern Baptist Church in Fort Branch, IN. and was a WW II veteran having served in the Pacific Theater. Besides his parents he is also preceded in death by his wife Katie Mae (West) Sisk Rubin is survived by 3 children, Dale Sisk of Fort Branch, Dottie Green of Fort Branch, IN., and Linda Sharp of Elberfeld, IN. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Services for Rubin will be on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN., Pastor Michael Koontz will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN, where military graveside services will be conducted by the VFW Post 2714 and the Haubstadt American Legion. Visitation will be on Saturday morning, May 31,2008 from 9:00 A.M. until servive time.
