Ruth M. King, 90, of Fort Branch, IN formally of Mackey, IN, passed away on Friday, Oct. 26, 2012 at Owensville Transcendant Care.  She was born to the late Henry and Sophie (Jeide) Boedeker on Nov. 3, 1921 in Gibson Co.

She attended the Mackey United Methodist Church and was confirmed at the St. John United Church of Christ in Buckskin, IN.

Besides her parents Ruth is also preceded in death by a brother William Boedeker.

Ruth is survived by 2 children, Rita (Dan) Maikranz and Linda (Toby) Thompson both of Fort Branch, IN, a sister Elsie Smith of buckskin, IN,  4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and a sister Elsie Smith of Buckskin, IN and a  sister in-law, Mary Boedeker of Oakland City, IN.

Services for Ruth will be Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN,with Reverend Bill Reed officiating and with burial in St. John Cemetery in Buckskin, IN.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  The family ask that any donations can be made the the charity of your choice.
