Ruth L.(Stodghill) Brown, 86, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Dec. 23rd, 2009 in South Bend. She was born to the late William and Charlie (Jones) Stodghill in Vincennes, Indiana. Ruth was a member of the St. Pius X Catholic Church in South Bend. She Graduated in 1941 from Vincennws Lincoln High School and was an avid supporter of Notre Dame Sports. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Robert Brown Sr.and 6 brothers, Cecil, Noah, Howard, Charles, Hughe, and Robert Stodghill. Ruth is survived by her son Robert Brown Jr. of Arizona, and 2 grandsons. A mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, January 8th, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Pius X Catholic Church in soth Bend. with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Kaniewski Funeral Home in South Bend and from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. At St Pius X Catholic Church Friday Morning.
