Sandra L. Russell, 75, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011 at her residence after a short illness. She was born on May 31, 1935 to the late William Carr and Bonnie Agnes (Jones) Grubb in Oakland City, IN. She was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church, and the Winslow Order of Eastern Star where she was a 50 year member. Sandra was retired as the manager of the 3 D Dept. Store in Vincennes, IN. She is survived by 2 daughters, Karen Russell of Huntsville, AL, and Kelli (John) Decker of Hatfield, IN, 4 sisters Patricia Cook, Rita Shemwell, Brenda Jackson, and Anita Morris all of Fort Branch, IN, 2 brothers, Steven and William Grubb both of Oakland City, IN, and 2 grandchildren, Cory Davis, and Luke Decker. Services for Sandra will be on Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, with burial in Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, IN. Rev. Steve Akins will officiate. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
