Sarah "Claudette" (Duncan) Martin, 78, of Fort Branch passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 28, 2024.

Claudette was born on November 9, 1946 in Spur, TX to the late Huie D. and Ollie (Drennan) Duncan.

Claudette married the love of her life Clarence J. Martin on January 8, 1966. Claudette's kids and grandkids were her pride and joy. She was always very loving and compassionate to everyone she met. She always knew how to see the best in people and was always very forgiving. Sarah was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Claudette is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Clarence J. Martin; 2 daughters, Amber (Jason) Pollock of Princeton and Sarah Ollisha Martin of Fort Branch; 5 grandchildren, Alana, Jera, Destyne, Daylon, and Calvin; 3 great-grandchildren, Bently, Harlen, and Everleigh; 2 sisters, Peggy Cookman of California and Ottsy (Daren) Gee of California.

She is preceded in death by 2 sons, Jay Martin and Jarred Wayne Martin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until a recitation of the rosary at 10:45 a.m. at Holy Cross. A committal service will follow mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
