Shannon Faye Douglas, 60, of Owensville, IN, passed away on July 3, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born in Evansville, IN, on April 21, 1964.

Shannon graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1982, and married her high school sweetheart, Robin Douglas, on August 7, 1982. Together they had two beautiful children. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Owensville. She retired from Toyota Manufacturing in Princeton, IN, in 2020 after 22 years of service. Her children and grandchildren were the most important things in her life and she spent as much time with them as possible.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Rita (Farney) Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Robin Douglas of Owensville; step-father, Robert Smith of Mt. Carmel, IL; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Stanley and Marcia Douglas of Owensville; children, Jessica (Mike) Muhs and Blane (Ashley) Douglas both of Owensville; and grandchildren, Korbin Muhs and Brynn Douglas. Brother, Brett (Kim) Duncan of Princeton and their daughters Kasey (Logan) Spindler of Owensville and Brittany (Sam) Goebel of St. Phillips and her great nieces and nephew; Sister in Law, Gayle (Matt) Enlow of Evansville and daughters Mallory (Damion) Pierce of Newburgh and Miranda Niehaus of Evansville.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Vivian Cook and her staff at Ascension St. Vincent Cancer Center for their compassionate care of Shannon.

Graveside services will be on July 5, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Clark Cemetery in Owensville with Pastor Bart Newton officiating. Donations in her honor can be made to the American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
