Sharon "Kay" Pfeiffer, 73, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN, on June 15, 2025. She was born to Harold and Wilma (Webb) Finney in Oakland City, IN, on December 2, 1951.

Kay operated an in-home daycare for 10 years and worked in retail at Walmart in Princeton for 12 years. She valued patriotism and maintained a determined attitude. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing online games.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Phyllis, Ben, Don, Larry, and Mary.

She is survived by her children, Scott (Jamie) Whitfield of Haubstadt, April (David) Bruce of Princeton, Tim Whitfield of Haubstadt, and Andy (Danielle) Whitfield of Cynthiana; siblings, Nancy (Bill) Martin of Fort Branch, June Byrne of Princeton, Carol Ross of Princeton, and Debbie (Gordon) Marsh of Fort Branch; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with visitation from 9:00 a.m. to service time. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial and committal service will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Fort Branch.
