Sharon S. Sweppy, 66, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. She was born on Apr. 9, 1948 in Princeton, IN to the late John and June (Smith) Wilhite.

Sharon was retired from Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN, after 32 years as a surgical technician.  She was of the Methodist faith.

Besides her parents Sharon is preceded in death by her son, Josh Sweppy, who passed away in 2002.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Larry Sweppy of Fort Branch, IN, a daughter, Tammy Stuckey of Princeton, IN, a sister Peggy Beck of Oakland City, IN, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 1 nephew.

Services for Sharon will be on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN, Pastor Darin Nossett will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.  Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015.
