Shirley Elaine Baker, 67, of Patoka passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 18, 2025.
Shirley was born on September 22, 1957 to the late Cletus and Olivia (Schmitt) Weiss in Evansville.
Shirley worked at Hansen's Corporation for 38 years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. She loved spending time with her dogs and more importantly her family.
Shirley is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Brian) Poe of Francisco; grandchildren, Cindy (David) Reeves, Alivia Poe, Baylon Poe, and Hailey Collins; great grandchildren, Mya and Jaxson Reeves and Winter and Owen Collins; a brother, Steven (Belinda) Weiss of Owensboro, KY; an aunt, Viola Weiss; and several aunts and uncles.
Besides her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Seale; and a sister, Rita Abreau.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gary Kaiser as officiant. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. A committal service will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
