Sonja J. Sides, 83, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN on November 9, 2020. She was born to the late Bertis and Barbara (Neuber) Romerhaus on December 28, 1936 in Haubstadt, IN.

She was a member of St. Stephens Community Church in Warrenton, IN. She and her husband, Bill, were owners of Fort Branch Shoe Repair for 53 years.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, William Sides; and a brother-in-law, Michael Gayer.

She is survived by her 4 children, Jeff Sides of Fort Branch, IN, Rick (Elaine) Sides of Fort Branch, IN, Michael (Leslie) Sides of Evansville, IN, and Sheri (Timothy) Heldt of Floyds Knobs, IN; 2 sisters, Linda Gayer of Shertz, TX and Barbara (John) Fry of Fairgrove, MI; 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be on Friday, November 13,2020 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Stephens Cemetery in Warrenton. Visitation will be on Friday, November 13, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN.
