IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Stacey Ann
(Huelsman) Tenbarge
May 6, 1963 – September 2, 2025
Stacey Ann Tenbarge, 62, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN, on September 2, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born to Charles and Patricia (Wassmer) Huelsman on May 6, 1963, in Evansville, IN. She graduated from Gibson Southern High School in Fort Branch in 1981 and attended the University of Southern Indiana where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Her career included 25 years as an Accountant for St. Mary's Hospital, followed by 10 years at Deaconess Henderson Hospital before retiring in September 2024.
She married Steven Wayne Tenbarge on October 27, 1990, and they raised three children together. Stacey, a former collegiate softball player at USI, enjoyed sharing her talent and passion for sports with her children through coaching. Stacey was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt and led a life dedicating her time to helping others with compassion and grace.
Stacey radiated a fun-loving spirit, and her greatest joys were found in moments spent surrounded by family and friends, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and love. Her time with us was too short, but her legacy of kindness, faith, and joy will live on in the hearts of all whose lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steve Tenbarge of Haubstadt; children Caitlin (Nicolas) Maled of Indianapolis, Matthew Tenbarge of Indianapolis and Carlee (Chris Campbell) Tenbarge of Haubstadt; siblings Stanley (Laura) Huelsman of Fort Branch, Bradley (Jennifer) Huelsman of Fort Branch, Stephanie (Greg) Frasier of Evansville, and Briana (Ron) Elpers of Haubstadt; step-mother Gisela Huelsman of Jasper; and many loving relatives.
