Obituary

Sue Ann (Pfeiffer) Hardin, 70, of Fort Branch passed away at her home on January 17, 2025.

Sue was born on August 18, 1954 to the late Raymond and Pauline (Wolf) Pfeiffer in Evansville.

Sue married the love of her life, Richard Glen Hardin on February 20, 1982. They spent 14 loving years together until his passing in 1996. She was an avid lover of the Covered Bridge Festival and enjoyed attending with her friends. As an active member of the VFW Auxiliary she participated in numerous events and was an advocate for the American Cancer Society. Sue was a generous, outgoing person and made friends everywhere she went. She loved shopping, was a unique gift giver and enjoyed weekly lunches with friends.

Sue attended Oakland City University and earned an Associates in Science. She retired after 10+ years of service from Toyota.

Sue is survived by 3 bonus daughters, Stephanie (David) Harrison of Chandler, Kim (Steve) Heldt of Francisco, and Amy (Matt) Deno of Harrodsburg, KY; grandchildren, Danielle (Zack) Eshbaugh, Caleb (Alexia) Johnson, Morgan (Jack) Drew, Sidney (Nick) Schaefer, Owen Heldt, Dakota (Kathryn) Deno, Bronte (Malik) Deno-Mixon, and Hunter Deno; 4 great-grandchildren, Kason, Konner, Clementine, Calvin, and one on the way; 3 siblings, Kenneth Pfeiffer of Haubstadt, Jim (CJ) Pfeiffer of Fort Branch, and Kathy (Bruce) Taylor of Owensville; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Kristi) Pfeiffer, Kurt (Darcy) Pfeiffer, Kyle (Kim) Pfeiffer, Jamie (Doug) Hunsaker, Ryan (Kelsey) Pfeiffer, Samantha (Ben) Molina, Carley (Antonio) Lara, and Haley (Jacob) Taylor; several great nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog Snoop.

Funeral Services for Sue will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Gary Kaiser officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. A committal service will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Francisco.
