Susan Gries, 69, of Ft. Branch, IN, passed away on February 27th at Deaconess Gateway Hospital surrounded by her family.

She was born July 10th, 1950, in Evansville, IN, to Charles and Ina Mae (Arnold) Stevens.  Susan attended Harrison High School. She worked at Norman's Finer Foods in Ft. Branch. After it closed, she was employed at Deaconess Hospital in the pharmacy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ina Mae Stevens.

Susan is survived by her son Brian (Amanda) and daughter Stacy (Chris) Shellhaas, brother, Norman Stevens (Carolyn), grandchildren: Payton, Clayton and Aspyn Gries; Landon, Kenzie and Hadley Shellhaas and niece Meredith Stevens.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 3rd, 4:00 – 8:00pm and on March 4th, from 9:00 – 10:00am with a service at 10:00am at Stodghill Funeral Home in Ft. Branch.  Burial services will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Evansville.
