Susan Lynn Thompson, 32, passed away at her home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on June 26, 2007. Susie grew up in St. Wendel, Indiana where she attended St. Wendel Catholic School. She Graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1993. She then attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was employed at Procter and Gamble in Jackson, Missouri. Susie is survived by her parents, Tommy and Mary Jane Thompson of St. Wendel, IN., her Fianc'e, Charles Lilly of Scott City, Missouri, two sisters, Christine of St. Wendel, IN., and Melissa (Jack) Crowe of Cincinnatti, OH., a brother Dan (Amanda) Thompson of Evansville, IN., nieces Emily Crowe, Ashlyn Thompson, Kayleen Crowe, nephews Brenden Crowe, and Adam Thompson. Susie was a free spirit who loved everyone. She always found the good in people. She had many friends. A special person in Susies life was her Fianc'es mother, a friend, Becky Lilly. She loved animals, especially her dog Sammie. A special thanks is extended to Southeast Hospice of Southeast Missouri Hospital for their wonderful help. Visitation will be at Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, Indiana on Friday June 29th, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., where a Rosary and memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 P.M. that evening. A mass of Christian burial will be on Saturday, June 30th, 2007 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Wendel Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Father Tony Ernst will be the Celebrant. There will be a visitation at the church on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until service time. Memorial contributions in memory of Susie may be made to the St. Wendel Church, or the American Cancer Society.
