Tammy Sue Rose, 54, of Haubstadt, passed away peacefully at Linda White Hospice House on August 21, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 2, 1971, in Evansville to James and Dorothy Mae (Seib) Rexing.

Tammy was known for her warmth and kindness, and she was cherished by her family and friends. On December 14, 1996, she married David James Rose. She enjoyed camping, boating, and hiking, and valued time spent with her family above all else.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, David Rose of Haubstadt; her father, James Rexing; her children, Shelby (Jason) Rhodes of Haubstadt, Samantha (Cody) Hall of Evansville, and Zack Rose of Haubstadt; two grandchildren, Maci Rhodes and Rudy Hall; and siblings Tina (Kent) Lamey, Tim (Julie) Rexing, and Traci (Craig) Lamey, all of Haubstadt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, with Father Kenneth Betz as celebrant. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with recitation of the rosary beginning at 3:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until mass time. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery.
