Thatcher Charles Cotner was born on February 15, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville to Colten and Grace (Huey) Cotner. He passed away on March 20, 2026, at the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis with his loving parents by his side.
Thatcher is survived by his parents, Colten and Grace Cotner; sister, Omaleigh Huey; and grandparents, Lyndon Huey, Tammy and Roger Irwin, Carl and Mina Cotner, and Tammy and Randy Dawson.
Thatcher had a sweet soul and brought so much joy to his mom and dad. Though his time on earth was short he brought so much joy to his family and loved ones. Thatch had the sweetest face and the longest fingers that his parents had wrapped around them.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Pastor Mark Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions in Thatcher’s honor can be made to On Angel’s Wings, oawphoto.org.
