Vera L. Crain, 76, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Jan. 2, 2013 at her residence.  She was born on Apr. 12, 1936 in West Frankfort, IL to the late Vernon and Pearl (Wells) Williams.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy E. Crain, who passed away on Jan. 19, 2007, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Christopher, IL, and had retired from Forest Del Nursing Home in Princeton, IN, in 2007

Vera is survived by her Son, Jim Crain and Daughter, Jean Hensen both of Fort Branch, IN, 2 half brothers, Danny Williams of Bush, IL, and Jack Williams of Christopher, IL, 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Services for Vera will be on Saturday, Jan.5, 2013, 2:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN with Pastor Scott Burr officiating, burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.  Visitation will be on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
