V. June (Parker) Johnson, 91, of Haubstadt, IN formerly of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Sept. 1, 2016 at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, IN.  She was born on June 14, 1925 in Beloit, WI to the late Raleigh and Gloda (Maxwell) Dolen.

June was a member of the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church.  She was also a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and loved playing cards.

Besides her parents June is also preceded in in death by her husband Bob L. Parker.

She is survived by 2 children, Cindy (John) Hayes of Haubstadt, IN, and James Parker of Evansville, IN.  She is also survived by 2 grandchildren Joshua Lee (Leah) Hayes and Melissa June Hayes.

Services for June will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 11:00 at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, IN.  Military Services will be conducted by VFW Post #2714 in Fort Branch, IN and American Legion Post #194 in Haubstadt, IN at the cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.  Donations can be made to the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church.
