Virginia M Lamey, 72, of Haubstadt, IN passed away on September 9, 2005, at St Marys Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born on June 27, 1933 to the late Carl and Lousie (Schultheis) Ritter in Evansville, IN. Besides her parent, Virginia is preceded in death by a son and daughter Randy Lamey in 1996 and Becky Lamey in 1993 . Virginia was a member of Sts Peter and Paul Church in Haubstadt IN, the D of I for 53 yrs and a long standing member of the Altar Society. She is survived by her husband Darvin H Lamey of Haubstadt, a son Ray Lamey of Newburgh, IN and a daughter Mona Vanover of Haubstadt, IN, and 10 grandchildren, Paul, David, Kacie, Justin, Jacob, Cory, Brittany, Dustin, Casey and Emilie. A mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sts Peter and Paul Church in Haubstadt, burial will be in the church cemetery. Father Tony Ernst and Father Paul Ferguson will be the celebrants. Friends may call for visitation on Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN. A rosary will be recited by the church parish at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday evening at the funeral home. She will also lie in state at the church from 9 am until service time on Monday. The family request that any donation to be made to Sts Peter and Paul Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
