Wayne L. Biel, 78, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, IN on June 28, 2020. He was born to the late Lawrence and Lohrean (Kruse) Biel on April 5, 1942 in Fort Branch, IN.

Wayne was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #194. He loved Nascar Racing and Country Westerns.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Sue Biel.

He is survived by his 2 children, Gary Biel of Fort Branch, IN and Sherri (William) Kelley of Navarre, FL; 3 grandchildren, Hadyn Biel, Daniel Kelley, and Anna Kelley; and his ex-wife and best friend, Joyce Biel.

Services will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Hillhouse officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Military Honors will be performed by the Gibson County Veterans and U.S. Military Honors at Walnut Hill Cemetery prior to burial.
