Wayne Cummings, 77, of Evansville, IN, passed away at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville on November 13, 2022. He was born to the late Thomas Cummings and Clara (Dunn) Fray on May 4, 1945, in Evansville, IN.

Wayne worked at Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville where he retired after several years. He was a "Do it yourself" kind of guy who liked to remodel homes and work on vehicles. He loved to play guitar, especially Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash songs.

Besides his parents, he was preceded by a brother, Thomas Cummings, Jr.

He is survived by his children, David (Angela) Cummings of Evansville, IN and Stephanie Cummings of Princeton, IN; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Sebastian, Trinity, and Jasmine Cummings; and best friend, Jeff Peaugh of Evansville, IN.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor David Depoister officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, November 18, 2022, from noon until service time at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Mausoleum immediately following the service.
