Wilda M. Barnett, of Rockford, IL died at 2:55 P.M., Monday, April 21, 2008 in SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born Dec. 2, 1930, in Evansville, IN. the daughter of Olvy and Annabelle Davis Claspell. She was married to Earl James Barnett, Sept. 9, 1950, in Evansville, IN; he preceded her in death on May 23, 1976, in Pittsburgh, KS. Wilda worked as an LPN, private duty and was a daycare teacher in Illinios and Indiana. She also worked as a chiropractic assistant in Kansas. She was also a member of Rock House Ministries. She is survived by her daughter, Reverend Dola B. Gregory of Rockford, IL., a son, James "Jim" O. Barnett of FL., half sisters, Shirley (Sonny) MacIntosh, Jackie (Ernie) Payne, Hazel (Jim) Tepool, and Betty (Jim0 Rittenhouse; a grandson, and several nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her parents. Services will be on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West, Reverend Dola Gregory will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. visitation will be on Saturday morning, April 26, 2008 from 9:30 A.M., until service time at the funeral home.
