William Broc Bent, 58, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on Friday, July 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Dec. 17, 1951 in Evansville, IN to John W. and Marshetta (Saulmon) Bent. Broc worked for Flagger Lawn Spraying Service in Palm Coast FL. and was a member of the Palm Coast Fl Moose Lodge #2577 He is preceded in death by his father John W. Bent. Broc is survived by his mother, Marshette Bent of Fort Branch, IN, 2 brothers, Gregory (Jackie) Bent of Fort Branch, IN, John (Linda) Bent of Indianapolis, IN, and an Aunt, Margaret Saulmon of Evansville, IN. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, Keri (Brett) Brown, Andy (Lora) Bent, Rebecca (Doug) Roberts, Scott Bent, and Chris Bent. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21, 2010, from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Stodghill Funeral Home located on Hwy. 168 West in Fort Branch, IN with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 A.M. that same morning, Dr. James Cramer will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN. The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Visiting Nurse Association.
