William R. Genung, 64, of Fort Branch, IN passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center on Tuesday March 8, 2016. He was born on September 9, 1951 in Princeton, IN to the Late Gary and Violet (Williams) Genung.

Bill graduated from Fort Branch High School in 1969 where he entered into the Navy and served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in 1975. He was a member of the VFW post #2714. Bill was the sexton of Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN.

He is survived by a brother Donald Genung of Fort Branch, IN.

Graveside services will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch, IN on Friday March 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Pastor Steve Akins will be officiating. Donations can be made to Walnut Hill Cemetery.
