Zachary James Bailey, 21, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016. He was born in Evansville, IN on November 8, 1994.

Zach was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN. He enjoyed working out, all sports, fishing, hanging out with his many friends, and playing with his 5 month old son.

He is preceded in death by his birth father Dayne Bailey.

Zach is survived by the mother of his son Alex Schaefer and son Cam Westin Bailey of Fort Branch, IN, parents Jason and Stacy (Martin) Elpers of Fort Branch, IN, brother Devyn (Krimson) Bailey of Owensville, IN, sister Kendra Elpers of Fort Branch, IN, grandparents Bob and Jeanette Bailey, Jim and Cindy Martin, and Bernie and Aline Elpers, great grandparents Jerry and Bert Conner, nephew Dallas Bailey, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN with Fathers Tony Ernst and Biju Thomas as co-celebrants. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery following mass. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Stodghill Funeral Home on Highway 168 in Fort Branch, IN from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Thursday at Holy Cross Church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cam Bailey Education Fund at Fifth Third Bank.
