Alvis Garnett Holtzclaw, Jr., 72, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at The Waters of Princeton on December 12, 2020. He was born to the late Alvis Sr. and Jessy Evelyn (Jackson) Holtzclaw on November 22, 1948 in Fort Branch, IN.
Alvis retired as a truck driver for Wilbert Vault Company. He had a real lust for life and was known for being an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He coached for the Fort Branch Little League for 10 years. He always made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra (Harmon) Holtzclaw and sister Darlene Wampler.
He is survived by his son, Jeremy Holtzclaw; siblings, Lula Johnson, Kent Holtzclaw, and Keith Holtzclaw; sisters-in-law, Rhonda (Michael) Helmling, Joyce Menke, and Susie Cook; and 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be set at a later date. Donations in his honor can be made to the Fort Branch Little League.
