Brenda M. (Woehler) Hoover

Brenda Mae Hoover, 75, of Haubstadt passed away of heart complications on January 20, 2024, at Deaconess Midtown in Evansville, IN.  She was born to the late Victor and Clara (Smith) Woehler in Princeton IN on August 28, 1948. She is also preceded by her brother, Dale Woehler.

Brenda graduated from Haubstadt High School in the class of 1966 and married the love of her life Norman on April 20, 1968. She was retired from Deaconess Hospital after 38 years where she was a Medical Transcriptionist.  She was a generous and loving Wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Brenda was a lifelong member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she sang in the church choir along with many of her family members. Brenda started the monthly lunch reunions of her class, enjoyed music old and new and loved flowers especially sunflowers.  

Brenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Norman of Haubstadt, children; Victoria (Travis) Wainman, Milton, FL; Elizabeth (Tim) Parke, Newburgh IN; Matthew (Jennifer) Hoover, Oakland City, IN; 7 grandchildren; Ivy Wainman, Abigail (Cody) Seib, Cole Bowen, Maddie Balentine, Macee Hoover, Skylar Parke and Kristin Parke and 1 great grandchild, Blake Seib. Siblings Debra (Friday) Martin, Nancy (Ron) Elpers, Danny (Donna) Woehler, Louis Woehler and Lori (John) Elpers.

A mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Andrew Thomas celebrant.

A rosary in her honor will be recited at 9:00 AM on Friday at the church with a visitation from 9:30 AM until mass time. A committal service will be held at the columbarium at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery following mass.
