Cecilia Catherine (O'Connell) Weber

Cecilia Catherine Weber, 90, of Haubstadt, IN, passed away at North River Health Campus in Evansville, IN on Saturday, December 11, 2021. She was born to the late Ambrose I. and Cecilia B. (Schutte) O’Connell on April 4, 1931, in Princeton, IN.

Catherine was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Haubstadt. She was a Registered Nurse who took care of people all her life and retired from St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Paul Weber in 2018 and her sister, Betty Ann Kissel.

Catherine is survived by her 4 children, Dick Weber of Haubstadt, IN, Michael (Heidi) Weber of New Albany, IN, Peggy Weber of Clinton, IN, and Pat Weber of Haubstadt, IN; and granddaughter, Lillie Weber.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers, Kaye, Elaine, and Linda; and her lifelong friends (especially Renilda Kissel and family; Jeanette and Reinhard Groeger and family; Deloris Bauer and family).

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Fort Branch with Father Gary Kaiser as celebrant. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when a recitation of the Rosary will be performed. Burial will be at St. Bernard’s Cemetery following the service.
