Diana D. Carpenter, 66, of Silver Springs, FL, went to be with her Lord in heaven on July 3, 2023. She was born January 11, 1957, to the late Gerald and Joyce (Lillie) White in Omaha, NE. She married the love of her life, Gary Carpenter, on November 16, 1971. She was a homemaker and a grandmother. She loved to travel, camp, and cross stitch. She never met a stranger. She was a member of the Oasis Assembly of God in Princeton, IN, who loved her Lord and was a true prayer warrior.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joseph Glaser and a niece, Katie Glaser.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Gary Carpenter of Silver Springs, FL; children, Angela (Danny) Hyatt of The Colony, TX, Alexus Carpenter of Hazleton, IN, and Patrick (Denise) Carpenter of Pomeroy, WA; siblings, Terri White of Leesburg, FL, Lori Glaser of Leesburg, FL, Tim White of Owensville, IN, and Jeff (Lori) White of Owensville, IN; grandchildren, Selena Carpenter, Austin (Morgan) Hyatt, Colton Carpenter, Dylan Carpenter, and Katelyn Hyatt; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with Pastor Mike Marsh officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home with burial to follow at Owensville Cemetery.
