Elizabeth M. Williams, 93, formerly of Evansville passed away August 3, 2020 at River Oaks Health Campus. She was born November 7, 1926 in Gibson County to Carlos and Fay (Wilkins) Riley. She was Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Adrian D. Williams, 2009, A brother, Carlos Riley, Jr and brother in law Ora Williams.
Elizabeth enjoyed quilting, camping, sharing her famous baked sugar cookies. She worked at Chrysler, Grusins and Weinbach Department Stores. She and her husband owned and operated Williams Grocery for eight years at Snake Run. Attended Evansville General Baptist Church in Evansville.
She is survived by her sons, Larry (Jane) Williams of Fort Branch, Dennis (Melissa) Williams of Evansville; grandsons, Brian (Mary) Williams, Kevin (Richelle) Williams, Curtis Williams. Great-grandchildren; Maddon, Max, Jack and Riley, Sister, Catherine Williams of Fort Branch, Brother, Don (Sarah) Riley of Francisco. Special friends Nora (JR) Miller, Lynda (Gary) Kinnaman, Lynn (Mike) Cromer, Jane Miller. Several Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be August 6, 2020 from 12 noon to 2:00 PM at Stodghill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Gary Watson officiating. Burial follows at Providence Church Cemetery in Francisco. In Lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to Providence Cemetery.
