Gary Albert Boyd

Gary Albert Boyd, 61, of Evansville, IN, passed away at his home on May 8, 2020. He was born to the late Lawrence Robert Boyd and Rose Marie (Berosh) Enyeart on December 13, 1958 in San Jose, CA.

Gary attended Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, IN. He graduated from Leland High School in San Jose in 1976. and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served until 1982 and achieved the rank of Sargent. Shortly after Serving in the Air Force he owned and operated 2 auto parts stores. He was a General Contractor in California until moving to Indiana where he worked for Toyota Logistics Services from 1999 until 2012. After his time there he continued to remodel and build houses in the Gibson County area. He married his loving wife Sue (Creek) Boyd on August 28, 2004. He loved to rebuild and drive classic muscle cars. He collected vinyl records from 50’s 60’s and 70’s.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 16 years, Sue (Creek) Boyd, children, Sheila Boyd of Penngrove, CA, Gary (Sarah) Boyd, Jr. of Evansville, IN, Michelle Boyd of Hayward, CA, John Mudgett of Evansville, IN, Daniel (Mandee) Mudgett of Fort Branch, IN, Carla Beckwith of Evansville, IN, Matthew Collis of Chandler, IN, and Trevor (Nicole) Collis of Evansville, IN; siblings, Larry (Michelle) Boyd of Colorado Springs, CO, Sharon Hardwick of Evansville, IN, and Daniel (Cheryl) Boyd of Lexington, KY; and grandchildren, Tyler, Aidric, Caden, Jade, Gray, Ayden, and Marilyn.

Services will be private according to the family’s wishes.
