John Alan Memmer, 65, of Princeton, IN, passed away at his home on March 1, 2021. He was born to the late Raymond and Freda (Freund) Memmer on November 9, 1955 at Oakland City Hospital.
He graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1975 and went on to study accounting at USI for 4 years. He was also a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ and the Moose Lodge of Princeton.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Joe Wade and David Hall; and a sister-in-law, Cassie Memmer; and nephews, Jeff Edwards, Stephen Hall, Tim Memmer, and Brian Eads.
John is survived by his 7 brothers and sisters, Betty Wade of Owensville, June (Jim) White of Patoka, Ed Memmer of Francisco, Jim (Loretta) Memmer of Princeton, Nancy (Rocky) Edwards of Oakland City, Donna Hall Princeton, and Rose (Garry) Eads of Francisco; god daughter, Amber Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor John Heumann officiating. Visitation will be at the cemetery from 1:00 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Lucas United Church of Christ or to the family for medical expenses for John’s nephew, Dale White, who is fighting a rare form of leukemia, P.O.
