Kurtis H. Paridaen

Kurtis H. Paridaen, 65, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 24, 2022. He was born to Roy and Virginia (Hunt) Paridaen on July 13, 1956, in Mishawaka, IN.

Kurt graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1975. He married his wife Joellen on September 27, 1980. He was a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Knights of St. John, Knights of Columbus, BK Club, and the VFW Post #2714 Auxiliary. Kurt was a sales representative for Reinbrecht Flooring in Haubstadt, IN.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Paridaen and a brother, Martin Paridaen.

Kurt is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Jodie Paridaen of Fort Branch, IN; sons, Adam Paridaen of Fort Branch, IN and Joey (Alli) Paridaen of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Addison, Avery, and Alivia Paridaen; father, Roy (Marilyn) Paridaen of Mishawaka, IN; brother, Rick (Connie) Paridaen of Osceola, IN, stepsisters, Denise Gosztola, Michelle (Jim) McDonald, and Stacie (Brian) Campbell; and nieces, Sara (Jeremy) Gearries, Kimberly Paridaen, and Ginny (Chad) Vanderbeek.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch with Father Christopher Droste as celebrant. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch and again on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. A Prayer service will be performed by the Knights of Columbus at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, prior to the visitation. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in the mausoleum. Donations in Kurt’s honor can be made to the VFW Post #2714 Auxiliary, Holy Cross Catholic Church, or the BK Club, 721 South West Street, Mishawaka, IN, 46544.
