Larry Floyd Georges, 79, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at his home on February 27, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Floyd and Mildred (Greubel) Georges on October 29, 1940 in Snake Run, IN.
Larry was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run. He retired from CSX as a Railroad Engineer of over 30 years.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Lance Georges, daughter, Kimberly Conrey, and sister-in-law, Sue Georges.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Janet (Curl) Georges; his 6 children, Sean (Tarrah) Georges of Newburgh, IN, Arthur (Maribeth) Georges of Bartonville, IL, Jennifer (Trenton) Cycholl of Boca Raton, FL and Josie (Collins Latimer) Georges of Raleigh, NC, Brett (Kathy) Conrey of Haubstadt, IN, and Dwayne Conrey of Evansville, IN; brother and sisters, Janet (Tony) Sevier of Snake Run, In, Jerry Georges of Olney, IL, Deborah (Gary) Fritz of Haubstadt, IN, and Judy (Kenny) Page of Oakland City, IN; 19 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
Services will be on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Arthur Georges officiating. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
