Lynda Armstrong, 55, of Owensville, IN passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Kenneth and Shirley (Houghland) Dougan on January 24, 1965 in Bethesda, Maryland.
She worked at Lakeview Restaurant, Bob Evans, and most recently Casey’s in Fort Branch where she was affectionately known as the cookie lady. She loved dogs and raised Yorkie puppies for ten years.
She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth Dougan and her brother Bob Dougan.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Dougan; her loving husband of 20 years, Stewart Armstrong; her 4 chidren, Dale Mallory of Evansville, IN, Casey (Steve) Campbell of Fort Branch, IN, Melissa (Anthony) Mallory of Fort Branch, IN, and Mark (Kenzie) Mallory of Haubstadt, IN; brother, Mike (Peggy) Dougan of Princeton, IN; sister, Mary (Patrick) White of Fort Branch, IN; 8 grandchildren, Damien, Teagan, JJ, Brock, Bryer, Miles, Mackinlee, and Jackson; and the father of her children, Tim Mallory of Francisco, IN.
Services will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch with Elder James Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Spurgeon Cemetery in Spurgeon, IN following the service.
