Marlin R. Keil, 63, of Owensville, IN, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home. He was born to the late Wilfred and Norma (Kiesel) Keil on May 8, 1958, in Evansville, IN.
Marlin was a grain mill operator most of his life, but most recently was a truck driver for Chamberlain Farms. He was a real family man who loved playing with his grandchildren and dogs. He also loved playing Euchre, watching Nascar, and drinking Mountain Dew.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by the aunt and uncle who helped raise him, Walter and Dorothy Knapp; the mother of his children, Sandra Khan; his siblings, twins Barbara and Billy Keil and Anthony Keil; brother-in-law, Mike Memmer; and best friend Lester “Turkey” Bittner.
Marlin is survived by his children, Jeffrey Keil of Princeton, IN and Jamie (Kevin) Smith of Owensville, IN ; sibings, Edward Keil of Haubstadt, IN, Anna Marie Keil of Haubstadt, IN, Gloria (Stan) Nally of Evansville, IN, Linda Memmer of Fort Branch, IN, Michael (Mary) Keil Rust of Portland, OR, Bernard (Karen) Keil of Haubstadt, IN, twin sister Marilyn Keil of Evansville, IN, and Alice (Jim) Jesse of Tennyson, IN; grandchildren, Kaybri Keil and Nevaeh, Nehemiah, Eliza, and Eloise Smith; and his 2 dogs, Bubba and Maggie.
Services will be on Friday, September10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN with Pastor John Spencer officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Stodghill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Donations in his honor can be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
