Richard Scott Obituary

Richard A. Scott, 64, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away on December 8, 2022, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. He was born to the late Billy Joe Scott and Viola (Carnahan) Banet on November 26, 1958, in Vincennes, IN.

Richard was a member of the Fort Branch Wesleyan Church. He was a self-employed auto mechanic who enjoyed collecting unique things.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Robert Scott.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Robin (Deener) Scott of Fort Branch, IN; 6 children, Johnny McCammon of Newburgh, IN, Shawn (Sarah) McCammon of Owensville, IN, Star Robbins of Seymour, IN, William (Andrea) McCammon of Owensville, IN, Christina Scott of Fort Branch, IN, and April Scott of Fort Branch, IN; sister, Cheryl (Rooster) Bolt of Greenwood, SC; brother, Sterling (Bobbi Jo) Banet of Lincoln, IL; 13 grandchildren, Patience, Shuana, Heaven, Angelica, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Zachary, Tequila, Jasmine, Hanna, Maggie, London, and Remy; 5 great grandchildren, Timberland, Nathaniel, Braxton, Nevaeh, and Athena; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of his life will be held on December 31, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until 5 :00 p.m. at the Fort Branch Senior Center. Stodghill Funeral Home is honored to care for the Scott family. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
