Robert Brent “Bobby” Crawford, 64, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away at his home on February 8, 2024. He was born to Robert Dale Crawford and Carolyn (Kelley) Wilkerson on July 15, 1959, in Princeton, IN.
Bobby was raised in the Owensville General Baptist Church. He graduated from Gibson Southern High School and served our country in the United States Army. He worked as a postman for the Evansville Post Office for several years. Bobby was an animal lover and is survived by his beloved German Shepherd, Bear. In his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and jeeping.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Dale Crawford; stepmother, Pauline Crawford; stepfather, Carlos Wilkerson; and brother, Kelley Brett Crawford.
Bobby is survived by his mother, Carolyn Wilkerson of Fort Branch, IN; sisters, Jane (Mike) Parker of Fort Branch, IN, Carla (Gerald) Sprinkle of Evansville, IN, and Teresa (Mark) Bohnert of Newburgh, IN.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch with Reverend Corey Atkins officiating. Military Honors will be performed at the cemetery by the Retired Veterans of Gibson County. Donations in his honor can be made to the Gibson County Animal Services or the Wounded Warrior Project.
