Wendy Lynn Cordray entered this world on December 10, 1967, as the first-born to Ellen C. (Street) Asa and Jim Cordray. She went to be with the God whom she loved on August 28, 2019. Born with Down Syndrome, she nevertheless had a love and zest for life. She competed successfully in Special Olympics, learned to play the piano, did martial arts, and worked at the Senior Citizen’s Center and public library. She had a wry humor and sharp wit, laughed easily, and was well-mannered. She loved her family, her dog, her church, and her God.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Cordray.
She is survived by her mother Ellen and stepfather Robert Asa; her siblings Greg (Heidi) Cordray; Michelle (Daniel) Fauquher; David (Kim) Cordray; Samantha Fallowfield, and Jeremy (Amie) Cordray. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, and her beloved dog, Rascal.
