I'm so sorry for your loss. I worked closely with Allen when I was involved in democratic politics back in the late 70's through the early 90's. It was a pleasure to work with him. He was always honest and very competent in his dealings with me. I remember at one meeting he introduced himself by saying. I am not Spiro T Agnew. It brought the house down. Unlike Spiro, Allen was an honest politician.
I will always remember him fondly.
