My Granddaughter Kloe,
Upon the first glance of your tiny precious face.
I knew then why my heart would race.
So many hopes for the what might be.
Your Future bright I could already see.
A new perspective for me as a Grandfather.
Doing anything for you would never be a bother.
Now you have fallen into a deep sleep.
It is the Love for you that makes me weep.
I look to the future when we will be able to play.
But until then my love will grow Day by Day.
