Obituary

Antosie B. Snyder, 92, of Fort Branch, IN, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2023, in Chandler, IN. She was born to the late John and Kazmiera (Gailus) Wysockie in Boston, MA on October 31, 1930. She attended parochial schools in the Boston area, and raised her family in Rockland, MA and El Paso, TX.

Toni was a member of the Newburgh Church of Christ in Newburgh, IN. She was also a member of the A.A.R.P and the VFW Ladie’s Auxiliary El Paso post #8919 where she bartended for many years. She loved traveling, enjoying Utah, Hawaii, California, and especially Alaska. She was an avid crafter, sharing her creations with many. She loved laughter and the company of her many friends.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Lee A. Davis; her second husband, Ernie Snyder; son, Lee A. Davis; siblings, John Wysockie, William Wysockie, and Hattie Minavich.

Toni is survived by her children, Leann (Paul) DeHart of Concord, NH, John A. (Estella) Davis of Kokomo, IN, and Michael W. (Janet) Davis of Mission Viejo, CA; grandchildren, Matthew P. DeHart, Samara L. Davis, Diedra A. (Davis) Duran, Matthew J. Davis, and David J. Davis; and great grandson, Gabriel A. Davis.

The family would like to express gratitude to Katherine and Terry Parkinson of Chandler, IN for their friendship to Toni and care of her as she declined. They are also thankful for the care afforded her over many years to Dr. Quentin Emerson and his staff as well as Heritage Hospice.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, IN, with Elder Terry Parkinson officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Private burial will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. Donations in her honor can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Newburgh Church of Christ. Expressions of sympathy can be made at stodghillfuneralhome.com.
