Obituary

Betty J. Taylor, 86, of Fort Branch passed away on July 30, 2020 in Newburgh, IN.  Betty was born on January 28, 1934 in Tell City, IN to the Late Coy and Louise (Schraner) Goffinet. She is also preceded in death by her husband Clarence E. Taylor in 2004, one sister Marian Canarie and two brothers, Allen and Don Goffinet.

Betty was a Housewife and Loved life and loved her grandkids.          

She is survived by her children; David (Phyllis) Taylor of Corpus Christy TX, Cheryl (Larry Patmore) Taylor and Tom (Denise) Taylor both of Fort Branch, IN, Sisters, Janice Howland of Tell City, IN, Carol Sue Taylor of Magnet IN, brothers Stanley(Cheryl) Goffinet of Tell City IN and Harold (Brenda) Goffinet of Rockport, IN;   4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild and would have been a great great grandmother in September.

Services for Betty will be on Monday August 3, 2020 at 10:30 AM with Keith Dewig officiating with burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Fort Branch. 

Visitation for Betty will be Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch and again from 9:00 AM till service time at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society/Jay Walkers C/O Jan Burger 910 Mohawk Dr Fort Branch IN 47648 or envelopes will be available at the funeral home

The service will be live streamed and  Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.stodghillfuneralhome.com
