Jean Ann (Barber) Perry, 63, of Princeton, IN, passed away at her home peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born to the late Lawrence and Ruby (Thompson) Barber on September 15, 1958, in Princeton.
Jean was a member of the American Legion post #25 in Princeton. She worked at Hurst/Nidec for many years and owned and operated her dog grooming business, “Doggie Do’s Grooming”, for over ten years. In her leisure time, she enjoyed camping and fishing with friends and family.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Seth Logan Chapman; and her first husband, Ron Perry.
She is survived by her soulmate of 10 years, Teddy Albert Chapman of Princeton, IN; daughters, Stacey Lloyd of Princeton, IN and Stefanie Jenkins of Mount Carmel, IL; siblings, Janice (Bernd) Nix of Baumholder, Germany and Larry (Trina) Barber of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Logan Bruce (Erica Boner) Lloyd, Bryce Lloyd, Sierra (Lucas Thomas) Camden, Alexis (Tyler Padden) Craig, London Comer, and Gabriel Jenkins; great grandchildren, Carter Bruce Lloyd, Isla Grace Thomas, Veah Claire Thomas, and Maylee Rose Padden; her dog, Ozzy, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Graveside services will be at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, IN at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022. Donations in her honor can be made to the funeral home or the family to offset burial costs.
