Juanita A. Dunkel, 89, of Fort Branch passed away on January 4, 2020 at The Waters in Princeton, IN. She was born in Princeton IN on April 19, 1930 to the late Bryan and Mary (Jennings) Wirth who proceed her as well as her husband of 67 years, George A. Dunkel on November 25 2018 and her son Peter B. Dunkel on October 31, 2015.
Juanita was a former Clerk Treasurer of The Town of Fort Branch, and worked at many clerical positions in her career. She was loving mother and a member on the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch, Daughters of Isabella in Haubstadt and bowled in Princeton for many years.
Surviving are her children, David Dunkel, Haubstadt, Diane (Gary) Claymeier, Cape Girardeau MO., Joyce (Gary) Trible, Evansville, Amy (Troy) Miley, Oakland City, and Daughter-in-law Lisa Dunkel, Fort Branch. 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a brother Bryan Wirth of South Bend IN.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday January 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Father Christopher Droste officiating and burial following at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home with a rosary at 3:30 PM and again on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Holy Cross Church from 10:00 till mass time.
Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
